Breaking News: Marga, José and Ria want to resurrect Luv'!!!

Ria, Marga & José: Luv' (anno 2016) is back!!!!

Today's edition of Dutch most popular newspaper "De Telegraaf" features great news in its "Privé" section. A very nice picture illustrates the article.

Marga Scheide, José Hoebee and Ria Thielsch (member of the 1980-1981 lineup) want to breathe new life into Luv'. Legally they are allowed to do it as Marga owns copyright on the group's name.

Last year was supposed to be wonderful with the release of the long-awaited photo book "The Story of Luv" (a project supervised by Peter Boonstra). But the publication was rapidly banned and Patty Brard was very negative about it. It led to an umpteenth feud between the ladies.

But happy days are here again!!!! Hopefully!!!

In recent months, José and Marga have been closer to Ria. In July 1980 when Patty suddenly left Luv', Ria replaced her and was immediately accepted by the fans.

More than 35 years later, history seems to repeat itself.

According to De Telegraaf/Privé, Luv' wants to plan a comeback....four years after their so-called definitive break-up. The trio is going to perform its classic hits but intends to sing new material produced by Juan Cristobal Losada (aka Mr Sonic) from Miama, FL who collaborated previously with top Latin American singers (Shakira, José Feliciano, Ricky Martin, Julio and Enrique Iglesias).

"The whole story is due to circumstances," Marga tells. "Juan is so enthusiast for Luv' that he would like to write new material for us. Last summer José was at home in Ibiza. I got a call from a German TV channel for a performance. At the time we were not in good terms with Patty but it didn't matter to the Germans. We were allowed to perform just the two of us. There it doesn't matter if the original lineup comes or not. Toni Willé performs as Pussycat on her own," the blonde Luv' lady adds.

"The Germans and the French too, they appreciate former pop idols. José and I were honoured with this offer from German TV but we could not accept it. Luv' belonged to our past. I was busy with my animal rights activities in Spain and José was overcome with grief after her husband's death. But we didn't give up this idea and we were in touch with Walter Van der Schaaf of Quadra Entertainment who planned something great for us. In Miami he met Henk Schorel (CEO of Viva Canal, an international TV, music and entertainment company). Henk also coupled us with Juan. Then it went fast and we called Ria Thielsch. After Luv's break-up, she has been working in the fashion industry but she immediately wants to take the mic again and to rehearse. Last week we performed at a private party with her. It was very good. She is a nice girl with a good voice," Marga says.

Marga and José did not attempt to approach Patty to know if she wanted to join. "No, it's pointless," José asserts. "Too many things happened, too much has been said and written. Even the death of my husband Will was used on certain occasions to make me suffer. No, I'm fed up with it".

Marga: "We'll manage to perform on stage together and to enjoy it as well as the audience. That's what happened last time when we worked with Ria. With old material and soon with new songs, Luv' can go on for years. There's so much interest in groups from this era. It's unique that we can be booked again".
