Patty Brard: a regular candidate of "Ranking the Stars"
Since 2008, Patty Brard has often appeared on "Ranking the Stars" (the panel game hosted by Paul de Leeuw on BNN/NPO 3). Yesterday, the TV show drew 614.000 viewers (market share: 10.7%). One of the candidates was Dutch illusionist Hans Klok (who hosted the press launch of the much-discussed photo book "The Story of Luv" in early May). The diva briefly mentioned her conflict with the author of the publication and her former Luv' colleagues (without naming them). "They didn't ask for the rights," Patty said. According to the SBS 6 star, the pictures in the book were published without authorization whereas they belong to Universal Music. The record company gave written permission to the author to use them.
